Product Description2-PDS and 4-PDS are used for the photometric determination of thiol groups in biological samples. These compounds react with the thiol groups at pH 5 to form mercaptopyridine (Fig. 1 and 2). The maximum wavelengths of 2-Mercaptopyridine and 4-Mercaptopyridine are 343 nm and 324 nm, respectively.
